end is another beginning

She tried to start and start again but was unable to see a beginning. To her family she smiled and laughed as usual, while they asked “What happened to you? Why your rank is dropping down when you are working so hard.” They annoyed her, she was angry at them, until she saw tears of worry in their eyes.

She understood that her disguise would not work on them. They knew she was struggling but no one knew what to say? What to do?

It might be a tea-talk for someone but the family whose kid is preparing for entrance exam know what they are going through.

What parents fail to understand is their worry and sad faces hurt their children the most.

Their kids would always want to make them feel proud but when they see their parents looking them with teary eyes, its like an arrow stuck right at heart.

She continued waking up early in the morning, studying even though she wanted to sleep more. Not wasting a single minute, not slacking of, getting herself closed in a room.

She was angry at everyone and everything, as she felt chained with guilt and regret.

“Don’t search yourself in past,

 You are still you,

 You can still do wonders…”

And on that final day, she failed in entrance exam, there was no seat available for her in the whole country.

She was broken and everything looked like an end.

Everything came to a stop.

After exam, she used to see sunrise, sunset and wandered in the sunlight & moonlight. A cold draught of air brought her outside the chains she had put on herself. When all of her tears stopped, she smiled…

As everything have ended, isn’t it a new beginning…

Will she still have to find her old self to be at top?

She just embraced herself as she was at that time. She no longer remained strict to herself. She slept longer on weekends, took nap sometimes, listened to music, went out for walks. This time her heart, her brain and she herself was together in it.

She no longer looked at anyone and kept preparing her syllabus.

What about her practice tests?

She never again could make in top 50 or even top 100. But this time nothing mattered to her. She believed in herself.

She was filled with confidence. It might not be so easy, but she will do fine.

Even if she wouldn’t be able to keep pace with others, she will work hard till the last hour of exam, she can definitely do it.

Forget about the world, what was important is to touch that finish line.

One day after classes, a girl near her asked to look at a distant bench, “Look how intelligent she is, she doesn’t need to note down everything. I think that’s why she is among toppers.”

What did our girl reply?

She replied, “she is cool… but that’s not my style.”

Buddy, if you are reading this article, let me tell you, she did very well in final exam.

This time with great deal of work, extra hours but no stress, no confusion, just confidence in herself.

You don’t need to compare yourself to anybody in this world. Everybody say to learn from people around you, learning a thing or an approach might not be wrong; what’s wrong is to think that you are lesser than anyone.

What’s wrong is to change yourself to someone you are not.
