Ferrari Is Doomed—And It Hurts More in Imola

Ferrari is totally doomed. Neither of the Ferraris could even make it to Q3—that’s the top 10—in qualifying.

And the worst part?

This embarrassment unfolded right at their home Grand Prix in Imola. It’s not just a bad day—it’s a heartbreak for the Tifosi.

Now here’s the kicker—they came with an update.

Yes, a shiny new package.

But after all these races, Ferrari is still trapped in the cycle of trying, testing, and then basically tossing it all out.

Was it an upgrade or a downgrade?

Honestly, it’s anyone’s guess.

And if that update deserved a round of applause, it should’ve gone to Aston Martin.

Both Aston Martins cruised into Q3 like pros—taking the spots Ferrari was supposed to fight for.

Even more telling?

You can’t even blame Lewis Hamilton or Charles Leclerc—both are out of the top 10.

Ha… Ha… Ha…

Why is Ferrari spiraling like this?

Ever wondered that?

What actually happened?

There’s this rumour—whispers that Ferrari prefers to hire and promote Italian talent.

Not necessarily the best talent, but the one that checks the “Italian language and origin” box.

Sure, it’s just a rumour.

But the kind that’s been around long enough to make you wonder if there’s some truth hiding underneath.

If it is true… come on, Ferrari.

Time to take a long, hard look in the mirror.

Because fans didn’t flood into Imola wrapped in red just to see another strategic disaster.

Fans came to cheer, to believe, to witness something brilliant. What they got instead was a weekend to forget.

At this point, even hope feels like a long shot—but hey, hope is hope.

And while Ferrari flounders, three teams are quietly grinning:

1. Mercedes – Toto Wolff is definitely flashing that signature sarcastic smile. And if you know, you know.

2. Williams – Especially Carlos Sainz. In Q2, right where Ferrari dropped out, Sainz went fastest. The whole Williams garage lit up.

3. Red Bull – Why? Because Max Verstappen is doing the heavy lifting alone. Now, whenever Christian Horner gets grilled, he can just point across the paddock and say, “Look at Ferrari.”

That’s all for now. Let’s see what the main race brings—though expecting miracles might be asking too much.
