Did Red Bull Sabotage Liam Lawson? The Truth About Their F1 Cars

Is Red Bull running two different cars this season—one fully designed for Max Verstappen and another just filling space?

Or is it essentially Max’s car twice, with Liam Lawson now playing,

the role of the backup driver?

Once again, Red Bull is living up to its reputation: a brutal team for anyone not named Verstappen.

Since Max’s arrival, the entire operation has revolved around him—and why not?

He’s a generational talent, a driver who left his mark ,

from day one.

But his teammates?

They never last.

Who’s the Real Problem? Red Bull

Christian Horner.

Red Bull’s team principal doesn’t just expect rookies to perform from Lap 1

—he judges them from Lap 1.

 Forget about support or development.

Instead,

You’re criticized,

your confidence shattered;

your every mistake magnified.

Before long, the second driver loses their identity,

their belief,

and crumbles under relentless pressure.

 It’s not just tough—it’s toxic.

And let’s be real:

The second car isn’t built for them.

Their feedback doesn’t shape development; their setup isn’t prioritized.

They’re there to fill a seat, to exist as a comparison,

not as a competitor.

How else do you explain someone thriving at RB ,

suddenly falling apart in the main Red Bull team?

It’s not a skill issue—it’s a system issue.

Liam Lawson: The Next in Line? Red Bull

It’s honestly painful to watch.

Instead of

 “Let’s go!”,

you hear

 “Sorry, guys… I’m sorry…”

 after every race.

When a driver starts apologizing more than attacking,

you know something’s wrong.

Liam loves to race. He loves going wheel to wheel. And he can absolutely do it.

But at Red Bull?

Something’s happening behind those doors that nobody talks about.

Liam, Hold Your Ground

To Liam:

Tighten that grip on the wheel, throw caution to the wind, and drive like hell. Because these guys don’t care. The more you fear them, the faster they’ll discard you.

There’s an old saying:

Be careful only when you have something to lose.

But when you’re drowning,

fight like hell—because you’ve got nothing left.
