You heard it right. Franco Colapinto is making a comeback, and it’s happening at Monza.

After being spotted testing with Alpine at the iconic circuit, speculation has turned into something much more concrete.

While Jack Doohan will get his six-race run, Monza marks race number seven of the season—and it looks like Franco is stepping in from there.

Let’s rewind a bit.

Colapinto had signed a multi-year contract with Alpine, and from the very beginning, whispers of him replacing Doohan were floating around the paddock.

The theory?

Jack would get at least six races, and then Alpine would make their move.

Well, guess what?

It’s happening.

To be fair, Jack Doohan hasn’t done a bad job.

He’s a rookie, yes, and yes, he’s had a crash or two, but he’s been pushing hard to deliver for the team.

In a sport as cutthroat as F1, that effort often isn’t enough.

At least he got six races—Liam Lawson was shown the door after just two.

But the difference here?

 Lawson’s still around.

If Jack gets replaced, he might be completely out.

Tough business, eh?

..

That’s Formula 1 for you.

The world moves faster than your thoughts.

Blink, and the line-up changes.

Franco fans were heartbroken when he didn’t land a seat after the 2024 season, but his testing with Alpine went viral, sending a surge of buzz through the F1 community.

And for good reason—Colapinto isn’t just hype.

His overtaking?

Sharp.

 His defence?

Solid.

His attack?

Calculated and fierce.

Watching him back on the grid will definitely bring some heat to the midfield (or who knows, maybe higher?).

F1 is a strange place—you’re thrilled one moment, crushed the next. It’s a rollercoaster that tests not just drivers, but fans too. Ferrari fans? They know this pain all too well.

No matter how much effort, strategy, or pit wall prayer goes in, it always feels like their car is maxed out at… disappointment.

They keep saying “we’re trying”—but seriously, how much more can they try?

Next stop: Bahrain. Where do you think Ferrari will land this time?
