CSK Lost, So It’s Dhoni’s Fault? Think Again!

- By Dr. AK Rana
So, CSK lost their second match, and suddenly it’s all Dhoni’s fault? Have you even looked at how much his teammates contributed?
A match is never won or lost by a single player.
Cricket is a team game, and yet, some turning points become the only things people remember.
The same critics blaming Dhoni now were in awe of his lightning-fast stumping just a few days ago—something rarely seen in cricket. And he’s done it twice this season already!
It takes immense patience, concentration, and reflexes to pull off that kind of magic in milliseconds.
Let’s also not forget: winning every league match doesn’t guarantee the championship. Many teams that stumble early come back stronger in the knockouts.
..
CSK has done it before, and they will do it again.
As long as Dhoni is there, this team will never fall behind. He’s not just a player; he’s a mentor, a guide, and the glue that holds CSK together.
A team needs a leader, someone who inspires confidence when stepping onto the field.
Should Dhoni Retire? Absolutely Not! – CSK
Some people argue that Dhoni should retire. But why? CSK wants him, fans adore him, and most importantly—he still delivers. With Dhoni on the field, it’s like having a coach playing alongside the team.
And let’s talk about “form.” Many younger players in this league have struggled, but no one is questioning their place just because of their age.
Why is Dhoni judged differently? – CSK
Age-shaming in sports should be a term because that’s exactly what’s happening here.
If he enjoys playing and contributes to the team’s success, there’s no reason for him to step away. Dhoni is the heart and soul of CSK and the IPL.
As long as he’s willing, he should play—no questions asked!
The IPL Race Heats Up!
Yes, CSK lost, but they will bounce back, as they always do. Meanwhile, other teams are on their own journeys:
Mumbai Indians are searching for their lost glory.
KKR is finding their rhythm again.
SRH is still recovering from their shocking home defeat.
RCB is soaring high with newfound confidence.
Virat Kohli looked ecstatic in the last match, and the entire RCB squad seems re-energized. With Phil Salt as a solid opener and Bhuvneshwar Kumar showcasing his legendary bowling,
this might finally be RCB’s year.
Can they break their 18-year drought and lift the trophy?
Given India’s recent ICC victories, maybe the tides are turning for Bangalore too!
Who knows? That’s the beauty of IPL—the festival of cricket.
