First thing—breathe.

I don’t want you to set a countdown like there’s a ticking bomb. The more you hype it up, the more anxiety it builds. Yes, the exam is important, but don’t treat it like the end of the world. It’s a challenge—so suit up smartly. Here are a few things you must keep in mind:

—

1. Previous Years’ Papers Are GOLD – NEET

Stop pushing them to the last day. Seriously.

Start integrating the last 5 years’ NEET papers into your revision right now. Don’t just memorize answers—understand the concept behind each one. Those concepts are the hot zones that cover nearly 90% of what NEET tests.

If you’re stuck, go solve other booklets, visit a doubt counter, ask a mentor—

…

Just don’t leave a concept hanging.

—

2. Stop Trying to Know Everything

The fear of missing out on some obscure topic can actually make you miss the important ones.

Prioritize what gets you marks. You can’t revise the universe, but you can revise the scoring areas, key concepts, and questions that matter.

…

Be smart, not exhaustive.

—

3. NCERT Is Your Best Friend- NEET

Especially in Biology and Chemistry, theory is straight from NCERT. Let me tell you a story—when I gave my exam, there were two controversial questions, and guess what? The NCERT textbook version was taken as the final answer.

Stick to it like glue.

—

4. Drop the Regrets

Wasted time? Didn’t study enough? Slept through lectures? Don’t spiral into self-pity now.

This isn’t the time to look back—it’s time to act. Sit tight, stay on the chair, and revise. Focus on 3 to 5 years’ papers, cover them concept-wise, and solve a few additional questions around tricky areas.

Don’t get lost in every page of notes—be precise. Tell your heart to wait—you’ll come back to unfinished chapters later if time allows.

—

5. Know the “Why” Behind the Answer – NEET

Understanding why an answer is right is crucial. NEET loves to twist questions.

If there’s a table with data, and they asked one question last year, they might ask about another row or value this time. So, don’t half-bake it. Understand the whole table, the whole concept.

—

6. Health is Non-Negotiable

Don’t get adventurous right now. No injuries, no food experiments.

Stay hydrated

Avoid eating from outside

Prioritize rest

And don’t fall sick.

Simple.

Your body needs to be exam-ready just like your brain.

—

7. Make a Quick-Access Sheet

Jot down key formulas, tricky facts, and last-minute flashpoints at the back of your notebook. These will be your morning-of-the-exam saviors.

—

8. Write Down Your Mistakes

This one’s underrated.

Log your silly errors

Note what trips you up

Understand your time management pattern

Be patient—especially when the first few questions seem tough. NEET papers often start heavy. Breathe and carry on.

And above all, complete the paper. Even if you don’t solve every question, see them all.

—

9. One Thing at a Time

Don’t multitask. Your brain can only go full throttle in one lane at a time.

Divide your day into subject-wise blocks. Deep focus. One topic. One hour. Rinse and repeat.

Yes, the clock is ticking. But today’s grind builds your tomorrow’s glory.

—

10. Stay Motivated and Be Kind to Yourself

You are not fighting the world. You are not fighting yourself.

You’re just solving a paper with everything you’ve learned, bit by bit, over months and years.

And you can do this.

…

Don’t worry about lakhs of others.

Just focus on your journey.

Believe in your preparation.

Be excited to give your best. That’s all that counts.

—

All the Best!

Keep your chin up, energy high, and mind clear.

You’ve got this.

Stay tuned with Halleysclinic.com

Got a question?
