{"id":782,"date":"2025-04-06T17:32:02","date_gmt":"2025-04-06T16:32:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/halleysclinic.com\/?p=782"},"modified":"2025-04-06T17:32:03","modified_gmt":"2025-04-06T16:32:03","slug":"max-verstappen-dominates-in-japan-sets-new-record","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/halleysclinic.com\/index.php\/2025\/04\/06\/max-verstappen-dominates-in-japan-sets-new-record\/","title":{"rendered":"Max Verstappen Dominates in Japan \u2013 Sets New Record"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>By Dr. AK Rana<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Max Verstappen has done it again \u2013 four consecutive wins at Suzuka, and that in itself is a mic drop moment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He proved, once more, what it means to dominate a driver&#8217;s track, even with two fiery McLarens breathing down his neck in arguably the fastest car this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>&#8220;It was an interesting race,&#8221; <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Max Verstappen said after the race.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>And it really was \u2014 interesting for the lack of chaos for a change. No rain, no safety cars, no wild overtakes \u2014 just pure racing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most drivers clung to their positions throughout the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But hey, a bit of spice came through \u2014 courtesy of Verstappen and Norris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&nbsp;A little spark, as they say, that might just turn into a fire as the season heats up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Lando trying to sneak past Max as he exited the pit lane, only to be nudged into the grass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Although in reality, Max was just minding his own racing line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ha ha ha\u2026 classic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>With every passing race, the grid grows tighter \u2014 this is, hands down, the closest F1 has looked before the 2026 regulation shake-up.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<strong>And if you&#8217;ve noticed, each race so far has had a different winner.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mid-race, it seemed Oscar Piastri had a real shot at passing Norris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He had the pace, no doubt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But McLaren, it seems, played it safe \u2014 likely laying down team orders to let the boys finish where they started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Just another reminder:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Qualifying is everything, especially for the McLaren duo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Elsewhere, George Russell and rookie Kimi Antonelli went wheel-to-wheel \u2014 and let me tell you, give it one or two more races, and Kimi might just take his first win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;He needed this one to break the record as the youngest race winner, but it\u2019s alright.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because the F1 world \u2014 including Toto \u2014 sees the spark. The way he drives, scores points consistently, and stays calm \u2014 it\u2019s just a matter of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oliver Bearman also turned heads, beating Ocon and scoring points for the second race in a row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Isack Hadjar?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;He made it to Q3 and finished in the points too \u2014 in a Racing Bulls, no less.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Talk about making a statement!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Williams is slowly finding their groove \u2014 Albon is scoring points like clockwork, and Carlos is improving steadily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But strategy-wise?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Still messy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pit stops are costing them dearly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If they fine-tune that, they could become a real midfield threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And then there\u2019s Ferrari\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>This was supposed to be a restart, a reset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But nope \u2014 still stuck.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Hamilton, trying to experiment with tyre strategy, started on hards while the rest went mediums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Switched to mediums when others switched to hards. It looked promising at first, but then fell apart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He finished P7 \u2014 not ideal for a title contender.
