(A funny yet stale joke, as it has been floating around for ages.)

Kick Sauber’s Slip-Up – F1 75

The event kicked off with an electrifying drum performance by Kick Sauber, covering the entire stage with rhythm and energy. Then came the interviews—Gabriel Bortoleto, Nico Hülkenberg, and the team principal took the mic. But that’s when something unexpected slipped:

“We are gonna do good this season and prepare for the next—sorry, this is our last season.”

Oops!

A tough moment for the team as Kick Sauber is set to be replaced by Audi next year. While the drivers seemed at ease, knowing they would transition to new teams, Gabriel’s move is reportedly 95% confirmed.

Williams Becomes Atlassian Williams Racing

Next up was Williams, now renamed Atlassian Williams Racing thanks to an Australian sponsor. The car looked stunning, and Carlos and Alex seemed in high spirits.

Carlos Sainz even teased singing Smooth Operator, prompting the crowd (and even the host) to encourage him—but he ultimately declined. What followed was an awkward attempt at a selfie-video, which had everyone laughing in the background.

The Red Bull Racing- Name Saga

RB rolled in with Isaac Hadjar and Yuki Tsunoda, but not before a hilariously long intro mocking how RB keeps changing its name. The intro dragged just long enough to test everyone’s patience—but still felt shorter than the senior Red Bull intro, which was yet to come.

“Visa Card App RB” everybody heard it almost hundred times…”

Skipping Through the Midfield

Liveries were revealed in championship order, but let’s fast-forward to the highlights.

Haas made sure to emphasize its American identity in the middle of a European city. Oliver Bearman, with his baby face and surprisingly deep voice, won hearts instantly—this guy is becoming a fan favourite. Esteban Ocon was also there, casually vibing.

Alpine went with a long, dramatic intro theme—so long that those watching in late-night time zones (like me) could take a quick nap. Their drivers showed up with fresh-out-of-jail criminal-style haircuts, wearing caps like they had just escaped a maximum-security salon.

Aston Martin stole the show with a James Bond theme and a spectacular musical performance. Their car looked fantastic, and as usual, Fernando Alonso took charge of the conversation. Poor Lance Stroll, as always, barely got a word in before Fernando wrapped it up with,

“So you’ve seen the best livery of the day, that’s it, show over, let’s go!”

—leaving Lance awkwardly standing there. Great start, but a rushed ending, that’s what it felt like.

F1 Fans Have No Chill – F1 75

Between livery reveals, the host roamed the crowd for interviews.

He asked Lando Norris about his championship chances, and the crowd erupted in cheers.

He quizzed famous entity about swearing rules—who cheekily said, “What rules?”

The event even celebrated Pirelli for supplying F1 tires for years.

But when the host thanked the FIA, the crowd erupted in loud boos. Even the host was surprised and quickly changed the subject.

Mercedes: The Toto Wolff Show

Mercedes went beyond just revealing their livery—they made it clear that behind every dream stands one man: Toto Wolff. George Russell and Kimi Antonelli accompanied him, with Kimi expressing how honored he was to be part of Mercedes. Meanwhile, Toto kept a close watch, ensuring every word spoken aligned with the plan.

Ferrari & McLaren’s Grand Entrance

Ferrari and McLaren delivered some of the most thrilling moments, showcasing their rich F1 history in dramatic fashion. Their liveries? Ferrari added a touch of white, but McLaren’s looked almost identical to last year’s.

One awkward moment? Charles Leclerc probably felt it when all eyes were on Lewis Hamilton, with the host casually referring to Charles as “Lewis’ teammate.” Ouch. Maybe a bit of what Carlos Sainz felt at Ferrari? You never really understand it until you’re in their shoes.

McLaren, confident as ever, hinted at a strong season ahead. Fans are already anticipating Lando vs. Oscar battles—just, please, no breakfast-related team orders this time.

Why Was Max Verstappen Ignored? F1 75

Now, the big question: why was Max Verstappen not interviewed? When Christian Horner took the stage, he was greeted with boos—possibly from Checo fans, Yuki fans, Lewis fans, anti-Red Bull groups, or just people tired of team politics. Horner quickly left, and then something strange happened: Red Bull’s drivers, including Liam Lawson and Max, were not given any interview time. Why?

Some theories:

1. Fear of more booing – After the FIA and Horner incidents, organizers might have wanted to avoid more controversy.

2. Time constraints – The ridiculously long Red Bull intro might have eaten up all their speaking time.

3. Max declined – Some speculate Max didn’t want to deal with the British media, still holding onto the 2021 rivalry. (Highly unlikely—Max loves talking about cars and racing.)

4. Liam Lawson’s missed moment – As a young driver, he would’ve been thrilled to speak on such a big stage, but he was denied the chance. Why some fans still dislike him remains a mystery?

(One more thing, in their livery reveal, who actually got to see their livery?)

Final Thoughts – F1 75

Despite all the chaos, the F1 75 livery reveal was a spectacular show. Every car looked amazing—though, let’s be honest, most of them barely changed (ha!).

Now, we eagerly await pre-season testing in Bahrain. Let’s see if the hype translates into real performance on track.

Till then, stay tuned with Halleysclinic.com!
