Not because he’s a fan of fish and chips or the perpetually grey skies, but because he claims he’s had enough of the “too much attention” he gets in India. Yes, Kohli, the man who once thrived on roaring stadiums and millions of adoring fans, now wants to escape into the shadows of anonymity.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate the irony. Kohli says he’s not getting any privacy in India. The man who conquered the cricketing world feels “too seen.”

Whether it’s his breakfast choice or his gym routine, every minute detail makes headlines. Understandable, right? Kohli spent his life chasing the limelight, working tirelessly to become the face of Indian cricket, a name that reverberates through every household, the fame and recognition that every budding cricketer dreams of. And now, when the light is a little too bright, he wants to dim it down in London? Sounds like someone who bought front-row tickets and now complains about the view.

Imagine telling young cricketers like Jaiswal or Gill—kids who dream of this very attention—that the same spotlight they aspire to might one day feel like a prison cell. It’s like telling a kid to aim for the stars but not to shine too brightly because, you know, space gets lonely.

But isn’t this just life coming full circle? No matter how extraordinary your journey is, it always takes a turn and leads back to the basics: wanting peace, cherishing family, and finding joy in the mundane. It’s a universal truth. Whether you’re the King of Cricket or a regular office worker, eventually, all you want is a quiet stroll without being interrupted—a life where your peace isn’t traded for someone else’s chaos.

To be fair, Virat Kohli isn’t entirely wrong. After years of cricketing glory, unimaginable wealth, and living under a microscope, maybe he deserves a breather. Perhaps walking through Hyde Park without being mobbed sounds like heaven to him. But let’s not forget, Kohli doesn’t want to give up being King Kohli; he just wants to be a low-key king in a different kingdom. A place where the paparazzi are less invasive and the fans less fervent.

But here’s the kicker: Kohli’s fame isn’t something he can shake off like a bad day on the pitch. Even in London, people will recognize him. Sure, the attention might be toned down, but anonymity? That’s wishful thinking. The man could walk into a London pub, and before you know it, someone’s asking for a selfie, likely while discussing his cover drive over a pint.

And for us mere mortals? We get the irony loud and clear. Virat Kohli wants to live the life we already have—a life free from flashing cameras and screaming fans. Except, he has the luxury to switch between both worlds whenever he wants, unlike us who are permanently stationed in the “normal person” lane, minus the millions in the bank. Yes! we are also living the same life that King Kohli wants, with a difference of account balance (that’s too big indeed); besides he can always return to India if he gets bored and want some sunshine of fans who will always love him, no matter where he lives.

Well, that’s just my opinion, also share your opinion with us in comment section, I always love to hear what people think.

Stay tuned with Halleysclinic.com

For business inquiry contact halleysclinic@gmail.com

also read Virat Kohli: A King Deserving Respect, Not Slurs

[248
26,254
post-457","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-cricket","tag-halleys-clinic","tag-virat-kohli
["GET
