AK RANA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>During pregnancy especially in first trimester, there is rise in various hormones in the body. One of them is hCG  and is related to nausea and vomiting seen in pregnancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Symptoms of nausea and vomiting starts at the beginning or mid of 2<sup>nd<\/sup> month of pregnancy and can last up to 4<sup>th<\/sup> month of pregnancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-pale-ocean-gradient-background has-background\"><strong><u>MANAGEMENT OF VOMITING IN PREGNANCY<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Modification of diet is required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Along with increasing calories, taking a balanced diet full of carbohydrates, protein, fat, vitamins, minerals and dietary fibres; you also need to adjust the quantity and way of eating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Try not to do over-eating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Small meals at frequent intervals are advised (every 2 hours).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Don\u2019t take too much spicy, oily and fatty foods.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It\u2019s a common habit to drink water after eating a meal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You should try to avoid liquid both 30 min before and after meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Don\u2019t lie down to rest or sleep, just after eating food.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the morning when you wake up, take some light snacks before rising from bed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"663\" src=\"https:\/\/halleysclinic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-1024x663.png\" alt=\"pregnancy and vomiting\" class=\"wp-image-293\" srcset=\"https:\/\/halleysclinic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-1024x663.png 1024w, https:\/\/halleysclinic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-300x194.png 300w, https:\/\/halleysclinic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-768x497.png 768w, https:\/\/halleysclinic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-600x388.png 600w, https:\/\/halleysclinic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image.png 1051w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In this way you can manage nausea and vomiting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Always keep in mind that it is a natural phenomenon. You don\u2019t need to worry about it. But in case vomiting is more than usual, you should contact your doctor.
