AK RANA<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Dark circles around your eyes or most commonly below lower lid make you look tired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We always want to look perfect every day, but sometimes having dark circles is not so big deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Though you might get annoyed with the question \u2013 Are you tired? You didn\u2019t sleep well?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although that\u2019s not, always being the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-pale-ocean-gradient-background has-background\"><strong><u>CAUSES OF DARK CIRCLES<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Genetics<\/strong> \u2013 some people are usually more prone for it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Allergies<\/strong> \u2013 Ever noticed you are sneezing continuously and your eyes are surrounded by dark circles!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Allergic reaction is associated with release of histamine that causes dilatation of blood vessels, dryness and itchiness in eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Aging<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Fatigue<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Not sleeping enough.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Working all night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our skin becomes dull and paler, even fluid gets accumulated making eyelids puffy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Oversleeping<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Watching computer or mobile screen for hours.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is because the blood vessels around the eyes get enlarged, darkening the surrounding skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It happens more if you are watching a reel\/ shorts as they show multiple images in fast mode. This makes your eyes change focus again and again. You also blink less while watching such videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All these cause the dark circle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&nbsp;<strong>Dehydration<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When body is deprived of sufficient water, skin looks dull and eyes become sunken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Anemia<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Low hemoglobin\/ Red blood cells (RBCs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Skin looks paler than the one who do not have anemia. Anemia is associated with fatigue, weakness and dark circles are also seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"837\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/halleysclinic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-2-837x1024.png\" alt=\"how to reduce dark circles\" class=\"wp-image-111\" srcset=\"https:\/\/halleysclinic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-2-837x1024.png 837w, https:\/\/halleysclinic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-2-245x300.png 245w, https:\/\/halleysclinic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-2-768x940.png 768w, https:\/\/halleysclinic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-2-600x734.png 600w, https:\/\/halleysclinic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-2.png 979w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 837px) 100vw, 837px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-blush-light-purple-gradient-background has-background\"><strong><u>MANAGEMENT OF DARK CIRCLES<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A cold compress with ice cubes wrapped in a clean cloth and keep it on eyes alternatively for 10-15 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also take an ice cube and move it around your eyes for cooling effect, for constricting the dilated blood vessels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sleep nicely for 6-8 hours. When you go to bed don\u2019t take any worry\/thoughts\/ work or plan with you. Go to bed peacefully and with blank mind.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When you sleep while thinking, your brain is not able to relax sufficiently and you lack deep sleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deep sleep is very necessary for rejuvenating us and perfect sleep cycle is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>While we focus on sleeping, it doesn\u2019t mean you can oversleep.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also associated with dark circles as extra sleep comes with more dreams, which is not good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maintain a waking and sleeping time table and try to follow it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Keep yourself hydrated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Drink sufficient water, which is very necessary for the body, skin and our eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check your hemoglobin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Normal Hb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-green-cyan-background-color has-background\">For men&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2013 13 to 16 g\/dl<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-luminous-vivid-amber-background-color has-background\">For women \u2013 12 to 15 g\/dl<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are anemic, take iron supplements, green leafy vegetables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eating vegetables and fruits are advised as they are full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, fibers etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Take more food with Vit A (Apple, carrot), vit C (Orange, mango) and vitamin E in it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Apply cold milk almost one drop for each eye; spread it evenly around the eyes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep it for 20-30 minutes before sleeping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then wash the face with water and go to sleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is good for the dry, sensitive skin around the eyes that causes dark circles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reduce alcohol intake.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Quit smoking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Decrease salt intake in the food.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Many eye creams are also available in the market, which can be used.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If it works fine then its okay, but if gets itchy or burning sensation occurs then stop using cream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See dermatologist if something like that happen after using any cosmetics, not just the eye cream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>While putting on makeup, concealer can be used which gets finely mixed with our skin tone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Doing yoga and exercise, meditation etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These keep the stress away from us and make us stronger to face them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As you see, the more you think, get puzzled, the more you will tire your brain which increases the dark circles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although, we can decrease\/ avoid dark circles but they are a common part of our body. There is nothing to worry about or feel less confident because of that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You are amazing and perfect and in it dark circles play no role.
